NXP identified an opportunity for simplification in its Global Invoicing Processes. Current ways of working were complex and time consuming to manage, reducing the time devoted to customers by local sales managers and country managers. NXP approached Voorne Partners to help them define the simplified solution and to establish a Global Project to implement it.

The concept of ‘Direct Invoicing’ from a single business entity with standardised processes and supporting system was adopted. In order to migrate to Direct Invoicing it was important to consider all aspects of the change; from the legal and fiscal consequences, to end to end business processes, to the enabling SAP system and changes to the VAT Template.

A strong process leading to success

The process followed and facilitated by Voorne Partners was:

To identify and confirm the High Level Legal and Fiscal Model required to support Global Direct Invoicing Ensuring that an integral approach was used to deliver to the groepsfotoorganization an end to end solution To run facilitated workshops around the globe with attendees from all countries to identify the detailed impact on processes, systems and people To identify issues and run a process to facilitate their resolution To run solution workshops to ensure that the new processes were designed to take account of all the identified impacts and resolved issues To document the proposed model in a detailed Blueprint To derive a plan for implementation The Project was Global covering multi countries in all Regions of the world. The photograph below captures the Workshop attendees at the Asia Workshops in Taipei – a proud moment for the NXP- and Voorne Partners Team.

As Melahat Alp (Project Manager) & Erik Hans Munnik (Project Sponsor) said: “The practical assistance and guidance that Voorne Partners gave us helped us achieving our project targets quickly and swiftly. The teams felt supported and motivated. They were sufficiently global to support us “. Especially the thorough preparation during the blue printing phase driven by Voorne Partners proved to be the key for success."

The legal and fiscal work was carried out in cooperation with our partner Fisconti Tax Consulting.
