Improvements
Continuous Improvement, Re-design, Re-engineering, Total Quality Management are concepts which most of us recognise. The question is however: What is it that we want to achieve?
Recognising that ‘stabilisation’ comes before improvement (sometimes stabilisation already is an improvement), there is another category which is not captured in the above: ‘preservation’ (of assets). Following the initial question on the desired improvement(s), the next question is: What internal levers can be pulled within the business to achieve the desired effect?
Clearly recognising that there are also external levers such as Acquisitions, Mergers and Partnerships that can be used, Voorne Partners focuses primarily on the internal ones and the post Acquisition, Merger and Partnership phase.
