Re-design for transparency, cost & simplicity
A company operating in the European foods market wanted to implement a new trading structure and at the same time to reorganise its interface between the production and sales arms of its organisation. The objective was to create more transparency, improve the control of working capital and above all, to achieve greater simplicity in its mode of operating.
Because of their track record in Trading Modelling and their in-depth knowledge of Supply Chain processes, Voorne Partners was asked to contribute to the re-design. Part of this involved helping to define the Control Performance Matrix and making a start on the Organisational design. It was necessary to take account of the existing Shared Services centres and the complex IT system structure.
As a result of Voorne Partners' assistance, the company had a complete design of all the elements needed, ready for implementation.
